Clarity OS LLC

Refund Policy

Clarity OS is sold through the App Store, so Apple holds the payment and Apple decides refunds. Here is exactly how that works and what we can do.

Who Decides Refunds

Clarity OS is sold as a subscription inside the Clarity OS iPhone app. That makes it an Apple In-App Purchase: Apple is the merchant of record, Apple holds the payment, and Apple decides refunds.

Clarity OS LLC cannot refund an App Store charge, cannot reverse Apple's decision, and will not tell you otherwise. We would rather say that plainly than imply an authority we do not have.

The Offer

Clarity OS is 7 days free, then $59.99/year. There is one plan. The trial runs at full protection strength — it is not a weakened version of the product. Apple shows the price for your country and currency on the purchase screen before you buy.

Free Trial

Your free trial begins when you subscribe, and Apple does not charge you until it ends. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged at all. Apple requires cancellation at least 24 hours before the trial ends for it to stop the first charge.

Before Every Charge, We Email You

Clarity OS sends its own email reminder before every charge — when your trial is about to convert, and before every annual renewal. Apple sends its own notice as well. Being surprised by a subscription charge is the most common complaint in this category, and we would rather not participate in it.

How to Request a Refund

Ask Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, or on your device through Settings, your name, then Subscriptions.

A refund request does not cancel the subscription. To stop future charges, cancel in the same place.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from Settings on your device: tap your name, tap Subscriptions, then select Clarity OS. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not end the period you have already paid for. We cannot cancel an App Store subscription for you, and we cannot see or change your payment method.

If Apple Declines

If Apple declines your request and you believe the charge resulted from a problem on our end, contact support@clarityos.dev. We cannot reverse Apple's decision. We can look into what went wrong, credit account access, or help you escalate to Apple.

Technical Problems

If Clarity OS is not working correctly because of a problem on our end, tell us and we will work with you to fix it. If you also want your money back for that period, the request still goes to Apple — but say so when you contact us and we will document what happened, which is the useful thing to include in an Apple request.
